Description
Lendorf is a building that was likely a former inn and is now a house. It dates from the 17th century and was altered and raised in the mid-18th century, with some minor changes made in the 20th century. The structure is built of squared limestone rubble and ashlar, featuring stucco dressings. It has a Collyweston slate roof with stone coped gables and two red brick gable stacks.
The building is two storeys high, with attics, and has a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door with a plain overlight, panelled reveals, and a Doric stucco doorcase, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows. The roof features three gabled dormers, each with two light plain casement windows and slate hung cheeks. To the right, there is a wide elliptical carriage arch with impost and keyblocks, leading to a lower two-bay, two-storey range that has a 20th-century three-light window, along with a two-light casement and a three-light casement above.
