Description
The garden walls and gateways located to the north and east of the garden east of Summerdale House were likely built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from limestone rubble and feature roughly-dressed limestone copings, standing approximately 2.4 to 3 meters high, though this varies. The opening on the east side includes a round-headed arch with a dressed limestone surround and voussoirs, along with a wooden gate. The opening on the north side has a stone lintel and a decorative wrought-iron gate. Additionally, there is a small segmental arch with weathered limestone voussoirs attached to the north side.
