Description

Carr Farmhouse is a house that likely dates from the late 18th century and was refenestrated in the late 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with quoins at the corners. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door set within an architrave that has a cornice above it. The flanking bays contain paired four-pane sash windows with plain surrounds and central mullions, while a single four-pane sash window is positioned above the door. Additional architectural details include shaped gutter brackets, shaped kneelers, gable copings, and end stacks.
