Description
Plane Tree Cottage is a house that likely dates from the 18th century, with some early 19th-century changes to the windows and further alterations in the 20th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble and has a grey slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, with quoins on the right side. There is a half-glazed, four-panel door located between the second and third bays. The windows, which are small-pane and from the 20th century, are narrower in the first bay, likely due to the smaller size of the rooms inside. All openings feature plain stone surrounds. The interior was not inspected during the re-survey. The cottage is included for its group value.
