Description

Lamont Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features an artificial stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. The main doorway, located in the second bay from the right, has a wooden lintel and a 20th-century six-panel door. There is another doorway in the left bay, which also has a wooden lintel and a plank door. Flanking the main doorway are windows with wooden lintels and 20th-century casements, and similar windows are present on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
