Description

This is a house located at 23 Blacksmith's Hill, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with an artificial stone slate roof and features brick stacks. The building has a lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high with two bays. The central doorway has a wooden lintel, a flat stone hood, and a six-panel door. On either side of the doorway are two windows, which have original wooden lintels and 20th-century casements. The first-floor windows also feature 20th-century lintels and casements. This house is included for its group value.
