Description
House at 35 Blacksmith's Hill, dating from the early 18th century, is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble with an artificial stone slate roof and a brick stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring two bays. The central doorway has a wooden lintel and a 20th-century door, with windows on either side that have original wooden lintels and 18th or 19th-century two-light iron casements. The first floor also has similar windows, and there is a 20th-century dormer. All windows include leaded panes. A semi-circular bread oven is located at the angle between the house and the garden wall to the right. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a bread oven and chamfered beams.
