Description
House at 43 Crimchard, dating from the mid to late 18th century, is built of limestone rubble with a pantile roof and brick end stacks. It has a two-unit plan with a central entrance and stands two storeys high, featuring a two-window range. All windows are large 19th-century three-light casements. There are steps leading up to a six-panel door, with the top four panels now glazed. Inside, the structure has been altered, but large exposed beams run between the floors along the front and rear walls. A staircase is located at the rear left, and there is a back door made of wide planks. Some of the front windows contain crown glass.
