Description
House at 66 Corn Street, Witney, dates from the mid-18th century and has undergone some later alterations. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof, with concrete tiles on the rear. The house has end stacks made of stone finished in brick. It has a one-unit plan, is two storeys tall with an attic, and has a two-window range. The front includes a 20th-century door with a decorative fanlight and an early 19th-century doorcase with a bracketed flat hood. There is a 20th-century window to the left and early 19th-century eight-pane sash windows on the first floor, which have timber lintels. A gabled roof dormer contains a 19th-century two-light casement window. Inside, the house features chamfered beams.
