Description

House at 9 Maltings Road, dating from the early 18th century, is constructed of regular coursed limestone and features a thatched roof. The building originally had a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. It has a two-window range of plain casements beneath wooden lintels, with similar casements in the attic under eyebrow dormers. The central door, which is made of planks and dates from the 19th century, is sheltered by a 20th-century stone porch. There are brick stacks at both ends of the house. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to have chamfered ceiling beams.
