Description

Two houses, now combined into one dwelling, were built in the mid-18th century. The exterior is limestone with regularly coursed stonework and a 20th-century plain tile roof. Originally designed with a two-unit plan, the building is a single storey with an attic. It features a three-window front with casement windows, each having glazing bars and lintels made of wood. Three 20th-century dormer windows illuminate the attic. Rendered chimney stacks are located at the ridge and end of the building. A 20th-century porch extends from the rear. The left gable was rebuilt in the 20th century and incorporates a reset datestone. The interior, which has not been inspected, is said to contain an open fireplace, ceiling beams, and some original roof structure. The building is listed for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
