Description
Holly Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble limestone with gritstone dressings and features a stone slate roof with stone coped gables and moulded kneelers. The building has two storeys and a west elevation that consists of two bays. There is an off-centre doorway with a stone surround and a bracketed stone lintel, leading to a 20th-century door. To the left of the doorway, the outline of an earlier doorway can be seen. On either side of the entrance are casement windows set in plain stone surrounds, with two similar windows located above. The cottage is listed for its group value only.
