Description
Tallon Green is a pair of cottages that have been converted into one house, dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of rubble limestone with gritstone dressings and quoins, topped with a Welsh slate roof featuring one moulded kneeler and a stone ridge stack. It stands two storeys high with a two-bay south elevation. The central doorway has a stone surround and is covered by a continuous pair of bracketed stone hoods. The original central division has been removed, combining the two doorways into one, which now features a 20th-century stable-type door flanked by a window on either side. Each side of the building has three-light square section flush mullion windows with horizontal dripmoulds, and there are two similar windows above.
