Description
Home Farm is a house from the early 18th century, constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble with ironstone quoins. It features a slate roof and brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The central doorway has a wooden lintel and a six-panel door that is partly glazed. To the right, there is a window with a wooden lintel and four wood mullioned and transomed lights, while to the left, there is a window with a wooden lintel and a three-light iron casement. On the first floor, there is a central two-light casement window with a wooden lintel, and to the right, there is a 20th-century window. There is a one-storey wing to the left, which is also early 18th century and has two bays with the roof of the main house extending over it. A similar one-bay wing is located to the right. At the rear, there are original wood mullioned and transomed windows. Inside, there is a re-used 17th-century stone fireplace featuring a moulded four-centred arch.
