Description
Lane Top Farmhouse is a house dated 1736, with late 18th century to early 19th century alterations to its windows. It features rendered ashlar dressings and a graduated stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed, set within an eared architrave that has a cornice and a segmental pediment displaying the letters "F I B F". The tripartite windows, dating from 1736, have central sashes with glazing bars and narrow four-pane sidelights. The farmhouse is adorned with shaped kneelers, gable copings, and corniced end stacks. The interior has not been inspected during the recent survey.
