House and adjoining stable/barn. Late C18, stable/barn incorporating C17 house with late C18 alterations. Incised stucco over sandstone rubble. Graduated greenslate roof with painted stone chimney stack. Stable/barn has whitewashed rubble walls under corrugated asbestos roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays with lower 2-storey, single-bay extension to right; right-angled stable/barn adjoins to rear right, forming overall L-shape. Top-glazed panelled door in panelled reveal with eared architrave under pediment. Sash windows with glazing bars in painted stone architraves. Similar double sash windows in extension. End wall right has plank doors and loft doors, one reached by external stone steps. Stable/barn extends to right under common roof. Plank doors and loft doors and small chamfered-surround openings. Adjoining outbuildings are not of interest but contain a reused lintel 1678 R.H. D.H. which probably came from the original farmhouse.
