Description

Beech House is a late 18th-century house with an early 19th-century extension. It is built of painted render, with a graduated slate roof and sandstone chimney stacks. The original section has two storeys and two bays, with a lower three-bay extension to the right. A 20th-century glazed door is set within a painted stone surround under a pediment. The original section has sash windows in painted stone surrounds. The extension has a 20th-century door on its extreme right and sash windows in painted stone surrounds, with the exception of an enlarged ground-floor window. It is grouped with Curthwaite House for group value.
