Description
East Woodside is a farmhouse and barn with an adjoining house, dating from the late 18th century and early 19th century. The building features painted incised stucco with V-jointed painted quoins on a chamfered plinth. It has a graduated greenslate roof with stone chimney stacks. The adjoining house has painted roughcast walls beneath a Welsh slate roof, while the barn has a similar roof.
The farmhouse is two stories high with three bays, and it is accompanied by a lower three-bay barn to the left and a lower two-bay house to the right. The farmhouse has a top-glazed panelled door framed in painted architrave, and sash windows set in painted stone surrounds, which are topped with hoodmoulds on the ground floor. The barn features upper-floor blocked openings in painted stone surrounds. The adjoining house has a 20th-century door beneath a glazed fanlight, along with sash windows, all within painted stone surrounds.
