Description
Midtown Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features painted stucco with V-jointed quoins and a cornice, set on a chamfered plinth. The roof is made of graduated greenslate with coped gables, and there are yellow brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high with three bays, and there is a lower two-storey single-bay extension to the left. The entrance has a six-panel door with a patterned overlight, framed by an alternate-block surround. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set in painted stone surrounds. The extension has similar windows and a panelled door, all in plain stone surrounds. A barn located to the extreme left is not of interest.
