Description

The entrance gate piers and walls east of Arkleby Hall are from the early 18th century and are constructed from St Bees sandstone. The structure features quadrant walls with chamfered coping and simple iron railings. The gate piers are rusticated and topped with ball finials. The 20th-century gates are not considered of interest. This listing is significant for its group value with Arkleby Hall.
