Description

The wall and gate piers in front of Wigton Hall date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from calciferous sandstone ashlar and feature moulded coping on a chamfered plinth. The gate piers are octagonal and adorned with Gothic tracery carved panels and quatrefoils, topped with acanthus-leaf finials. The front garden wall is listed for group value with Wigton Hall.
