Description

The wall and gate piers to the south of Fyling Hall are likely from the early 19th century. They are constructed from herringbone-tolled, squared sandstone arranged in courses that follow the slope of the ground. The walls stand about 7 feet high and feature flat coping. There are two taller square gate piers that have cornices and ball finials on pedestals. This structure is included for its group value.
