Description

Arlosh House is a house dated 1716, located on the north side of West Street in Wigton. The building features rusticated ashlar stonework, a string course, and an eaves cornice set on a chamfered plinth. The roof is made of graduated Welsh slate at the front and greenslate at the rear, topped with painted brick and stone chimney stacks. The house has two storeys and five bays, with a double span design. The entrance includes a six-panel door beneath a patterned fanlight, all framed by a moulded surround and topped with a swan-neck pediment. The windows are sash style, featuring glazing bars and painted stone surrounds.
