Description

The Wigton Labour Club, originally known as the White Swan Public House, is a private club located on High Street in Wigton. It dates from the late 18th century and features painted stucco walls. The building has a graduated greenslate roof with a modillioned gutter and a yellow brick chimney stack. It stands three stories tall and consists of three bays. The entrance includes a six-panel door set within a mid-19th century pilastered doorcase. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor features double two-pane sash windows, all framed in painted stone surrounds.
