Description

The Lion and Lamb Hotel is a public house dating from the late 18th century. It features painted rendered walls set on a chamfered plinth and has a graduated greenslate roof, which has been repaired with Welsh slates. The building stands three storeys high and consists of four bays, with an extension at the rear. The main entrance has a six-panel door framed by a pedimented Ionic doorcase. There are sash windows throughout, with the window to the right of the entrance being double, all set in painted stone surrounds. The rear extension has cement rendered walls and sash windows, while a further toilet extension is noted as being of no interest.
