Description

Nos 31, 33, and 35 on West Street are a row of three houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from snecked red sandstone ashlar and feature an eaves cornice and angle pilasters set on a chamfered plinth. The houses have a graduated greenslate roof with rebuilt brick chimney stacks. Each house is two storeys high and has two bays, all under a common roof. The entrances have panelled doors topped by glazed fanlights, which are framed in Tuscan pedimented doorcases. The windows are sash types with glazing bars, set in painted stone surrounds.
