Description

The gate piers and attached walls to Walwick Hall date from the 18th century. They are constructed of coursed rubble with cut stone piers and coping. The rusticated piers feature attached jambs and moulded caps topped with swept finials. The attached walls have low swept coping, extending to the left towards the lane entrance and to the right for approximately 40 metres to the first step-down of the coping.
