Description
The gate piers and walls located to the east of Barlborough Hall date from the 18th century and early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed squared sandstone and ashlar. The two tall gate piers are square in shape, rusticated, and feature moulded tops with ball finials. A pair of wrought iron gates is situated between the piers, accompanied by pilasters. The gate piers are flanked by ramped walls that have a chamfered plinth and chamfered copings. These walls return to the south, where they transition into a low wall with flat copings, enclosing a garden to the south of the house. Additionally, there are various square piers topped with urns.
