Description
No 2 Church Street is a house built in the late 18th century. It features red brick and coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings and quoins. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has brick gable stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical east elevation with three bays. It has a dentil eaves cornice and a central doorway that has a keyed wedge brick lintel, leading to a 20th-century door designed in a 'Georgian' style. On either side of the doorway are 3-light casement windows, also with keyed wedge brick lintels. The first floor has a central 2-light casement window flanked by 3-light casements, all featuring keyed wedge brick lintels. Inside, the house has exposed beams.
