Description

The structure consists of a wall, railings, and gate piers located to the north of Barlborough House, dating from the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared rock-faced sandstone and ashlar. The entrance features a pair of rusticated gate piers that have moulded caps and banded ball finials. These gate piers are flanked by low rock-faced walls with chamfered copings, which are topped with decorative iron railings. This structure is included for its group value with Barlborough House.
