Description
The gatepiers, wall, and railings by the lodge to Horncliffe House date from the early 19th century and are made of ashlar and iron. The structure features tall square rusticated piers with rounded corners and large ball finials. To the left, there is a low concave wall supported by three buttresses and topped with chamfered coping. The railings above have a band of round arches along the bottom, with alternating twisted and square bars that end in round spearhead finials. The tall square end piers are capped with shallow pyramidal tops. The wall to the right of the gatepiers has been replaced and is not of special interest.
