Description
No 4 Church Beck is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed sandstone featuring herring-bone tooling and has a pantile roof with brick stacks. The building has a two-cell, direct-entry plan with doors positioned opposite each other. It is two storeys high and has a two-window front. To the left of the centre, there is a 20th-century glazed door with a gabled porch. The left side features a two-light horizontal sliding sash window, while the right side has a 20th-century casement window with glazing bars. Above, there are two-light horizontal sliding sash windows. There is a blocked fire window in the room to the left of the door, and the rear door is also blocked. The house has one end stack and one central stack.
