Description

Nos 29 and 31 on High Street are a house and an attached cottage dating from the early 19th century. They are built of hammer-dressed sandstone and feature a slate roof. The buildings are two stories tall, with two first-floor windows for each dwelling. Stone steps lead up to four-panel doors that have rectangular fanlights above them. The buildings have sash windows with glazing bars throughout, and all ground floor openings are topped with plain milled lintels. There are two chimney stacks at the ends and one located to the left of the center.
