Description

No 19 is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of sandstone rubble. It features wide eaves, a tiled roof with coped verges, and end brick stacks. The symmetrical front has two storeys and an attic, with three bays that include 12-pane sash windows set in brick surrounds. The central door opening contains a six-panelled door topped with a fanlight featuring radiating glazing bars. This is framed by a wooden doorcase with panelled reveals and an open pediment supported by brackets and pilasters. Additionally, there is a large gabled and glazed 20th-century porch. Each gable end has paired wheel windows in brick surrounds.
