Description

Cosy Corner is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is rendered and colourwashed with a slate roof and wide eaves, featuring three brick ridge stacks. The building has two storeys and is arranged in a 3:1 bay configuration. The left bays contain 3-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, while the right bay has a 2-light casement with glazing bars. The principal door is located in the centre of the left three bays and consists of a 6-panelled door with a transom light above, sheltered by a "tent" canopy hood supported by two slender wooden posts. To the left, there is a single bay, two-storey wing that is set back, featuring a 2-light casement with glazing bars in a gothick style on the first floor and a door opening with a 6-panelled door on the ground floor. Additionally, there is a pent-roofed outshut that projects at right angles to the frontage on the right.
