Description

Two houses, built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of snecked red sandstone ashlar, with a rusticated plinth and modillions to the eaves. They have a Welsh slate roof and brick chimney stacks. Number 56 has two bays, while Number 54 has a single bay. Number 56 features a four-panel door with a glazed fanlight, set within a plain stone surround. The sash windows, with their glazing bars, also have plain stone surrounds. Number 54 has a 20th-century glazed door and an enlarged 20th-century window opening on the ground floor.
