Description

No. 12 Etterby Street is a detached house located in a terrace, built in the 1830s with some later alterations. The house features painted stucco walls set on a chamfered plinth and has a Welsh slate roof. The chimney stacks are made of yellow brick and have been partly reduced. The building is two stories high and has three bays, following a double-depth plan.

The left side of the house has a 20th-century door with a fanlight, framed by a pilastered surround that includes a false key and imposts. On the right side, there is a plain reveals plank door leading to a through-passage. The ground floor also has an inserted canted bay window. Above this, there are 20th-century casements in plain reveals. The interior has not been inspected. This property is marked on the 1840 tithe map.
