Description
No. 28 Old Elvet is a house dating from the late 18th century, featuring some alterations. The exterior is finished in stucco, with a plinth and decorative bands. It has a Welsh slate roof and brick chimneys. The building is two storeys high and has two wide bays. The entrance consists of a four-panel door set within an architrave, topped by a margined overlight and a bracketed hood. There are late 19th-century tripartite sash windows in their original openings, complete with stone sills. The eaves are adorned with a corbel table from the late 19th century. The right side has coping and a kneeler, along with chimneys at both the end and rear of the house.
