Description

No. 11 Crossgate is a house dating from the late 18th century. It features incised stucco with painted ashlar dressings and a Welsh slate roof topped with a brick chimney. The building stands three storeys high and has two bays. On the left side, there is a four-panelled door with an overlight, situated beneath a bracketed cornice. To the right, a former shop has a garage door also beneath a cornice. The upper floors have sash windows with projecting sills, and the first bay contains a tripartite window. The roof is steeply pitched and has a chimney at each end.
