Description

This is a mid-to-late 18th-century house located in Durham and Framwellgate. The house is constructed of painted render with painted ashlar dressings, and has a Welsh slate roof with a brick chimney. It is a three-story, two-bay building. The left side features a six-panelled door set within a doorcase of a fluted architrave, embellished with corner paterae and a raised pediment. The windows are early 19th-century sash windows with projecting stone sills. They have rendered lintels, with protruding keys on the first and second floors. A renewed brick chimney is located at the right end of the building.
