Description

The gates, piers, and overthrow at the entrance to The Old Vicarage in Stanwix date from the early 19th century and are made of red sandstone. They feature two octagonal piers with shaped caps that flank double speared gates. A flattened scrolled arch springs from the piers, although the lamp that was originally part of the design is missing.
