Description

Brampton Sports, along with a flat above and an antique shop, is a building that likely dates from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The exterior features incised stucco with decorative modillions at the eaves, stone dressings, and a Welsh slate roof. The building has a coped gable with a kneeler on the right side and a brick chimney stack. It stands 2½ storeys high and has four bays. The shop front for No 23 is from the 20th century, while No 25 has a smaller late 19th-century shop window. The doors include a 20th-century plank door and a 19th-century panelled door. Above No 23, the flat has single-pane and 2-pane sash windows, as well as small attic casements with glazing bars.
