Description

No. 63 Main Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed red sandstone with an ashlar plinth and features a slate roof and 20th-century brick chimney stacks. The building stands two storeys high and has two bays. The entrances are marked by six-panel doors that have patterned fanlights and reeded ashlar surrounds. Between the entrances is a large window, originally intended for a shop, which includes glazing bars. The sash windows, also with glazing bars, are framed by reeded ashlar surrounds.
