Description

DRIGG AND CARLETON B5344 SD 09 NE (south side) Drigg 7/14 Rose Cottage GV II Mid C18, with later alterations, roof possibly raised. Roughcast stone with slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Central entrance plan. Coped gables with kneelers. Windows have plain surrounds; ground floor has sashed window with vertical glazing bars and 3-light flat-faced mullioned window; 1st floor has sashed windows with glazing bars. Entrance has gabled trellis porch and half-glazed door. Left return has small lean-to outbuilding. Right return has sashed windows with single glazing bars.
