Description
Sunnyside Cottage is a mid-17th century cottage that has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. It is constructed from squared rubble with stone dressings and features a stone slate roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has two bays, following an end lobby entrance plan. The left-hand entrance has a chamfered surround and a flat arched lintel, with a plank door dating from around 1970.
On the ground floor, there are four- and three-light double chamfered mullioned windows with hoodmoulds, featuring 2-pane casements and fixed lights. The upper floor has two heightened three-light double chamfered mullioned windows, with central 2-pane casements and outer 10-pane fixed lights. The left-hand gable end has a shaped kneeler, and there are ridge stacks located to the left of the gable end and to the right of the centre.
