Description
Stoke View is a cottage built in the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble gritstone and features plain gables, ashlar ridge stacks, and a stone slate roof. The building has a T-plan layout and stands two storeys tall with three bays. It includes 2-light flush mullioned windows with 19th-century casements, although the window openings were enlarged in the 20th century. On the first floor, there is a central single light window with a flush frame. The central doorway has a massive stone surround and a 20th-century glazed door. The gable at the south end has both single and 2-light openings, all with flush surrounds; one of the 2-light openings is blocked, while the others feature flush mullions.
