SULGRAVE MANOR R0A0 SP54NE (North side) 4/178 Hill Farmhouse

House. Late C17. Coursed squared limestone and coursed rubble, artifical stone slate roof, brick and stone stacks, 2-storeys and attic, 4 bays. Entrance in second bay from right has wood lintel and 4-panel half-glazed door. 3-light casement window with wood lintel to right. Window to left has plain stone frame with square hood and C20 two-light casement. C20 two-light casement window with wood lintel in second bay from left, and blocked window with plain stone frame in left bay. 2-light window with C20 casement and wood lintel in left bay on first-floor. 2-light window with stone mullion and moulded stone frame in second bay from left. Other first floor windows have wood lintels and C20 wood casements. Coped gable ends with kneelers. Rear elevation retains set of stone mullioned windows. Interior not inspected, but said to have C17 stone fireplace.
