Description
The Star Inn Public House is an 18th-century building that was originally a house. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a plain-tile roof with stone and brick stacks. The structure has two storeys and an attic, arranged in three bays. The doorway, located in the second bay from the right, has a wooden lintel and a four-panel part-glazed door, which is sheltered by a gabled timber porch. To the right of the doorway is a nine-pane window with a wooden lintel, while to the left are three-light windows that also have wooden lintels and old iron casements. The first floor has similar windows. There are two 20th-century dormers on the roof. The left gable end is coped and features kneelers. The interior has not been inspected.
