Description
The east (left) gatepier at the entrance to Sulgrave Manor is likely from the early 18th century. It is constructed of ironstone ashlar and features a square design. The inner and outer sides of the pier project slightly forward and are topped with decorative scrolls. A moulded entablature supports a ball finial at the top.
