The house is constructed of coursed squared limestone with a slate roof, featuring brick and stone stacks. It has two storeys and an attic, with five bays. The central doorway has a plain stone surround, a plank door, and a flat stone hood supported by scroll brackets. All windows are 2-light wooden casements with transoms and keystoned lintels. Flat-roofed attic dormers have 20th-century casements. The gable ends are coped with kneelers. To the left of the house are stores dating to the 19th century, built of coursed limestone rubble with a slate roof and brick stacks. The stores have two storeys and four bays. A 19th-century shop front is present, featuring a doorway with a moulded hood surround, a half-glazed door, and two 2-light plate glass windows, all under a moulded wood cornice with a hood on scroll brackets. A 20th-century three-light casement window is located to the left. The first floor has three 2-light casement windows with wooden lintels; the interior has not been inspected. The house was formerly known as St. Baldred’s.
